Our parks are open to the public and cannot be reserved or rented. All visitors are welcome to enjoy the space, but please be mindful that the parks are shared by everyone.
The Park and Recreation Board shall serve as an advisory body to the Mayor. Its purpose is to offer suggestions, recommendations, participation and direction to the Division of Parks and Recreation and advise the Director of Parks and Recreation as to the goals, policies and direction of the Division, as developed by the Director or as otherwise set forth in the Charter of the City of Fairlawn. The board meets on a designated Wednesday of each month at 4:30 pm in the Mayor's conference room. The meetings are posted on the Parks and Recreation calendar. (Res. 1996-135. Passed 12-2-96)
