The City of Akron Water Distribution Division will be conducting a water main flushing program within the City of Fairlawn to help maintain the water quality and to increase and evaluate the amount of water available for firefighting purposes.
The Water Department will be flowing hydrants from 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM on Mondays through Fridays. This project is set to begin on Monday June 8th in the City of Fairlawn, Copley Twp., Bath Twp., and the Montrose area.
