Please join us in recognizing National Emergency Medical Service Week to honor our frontline heroes dedicated to providing emergency medicine to the community.
In 1974, President Gerald Ford authorized EMS Week to celebrate EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation's communities.
The Fairlawn Division of Fire and Emergency Rescue Services is ready to provide lifesaving care to those in need 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and the citizens of the City of Fairlawn benefit daily from the knowledge and skills of these highly-trained individuals. Fairlawn City Council has designated May 21 through May 27, 2023 as "National Emergency Medical Service Week," and the City wishes to express thanks to the men and women of the Division of Fire and Emergency Rescue Services who work selflessly each day to provide the safety, health, and well-being of the community.
